Local Lib Dem Parliamentary Spokesman Peter Carroll today visited Folkestone School for Girls. Peter was invited to speak to sixth formers studying Sociology and Politics.

After his visit, Peter said "I was very impressed with the quality of the questions the girls asked. It's good to see a school encouraging their pupils to engage in the political process and get used to holding local politicians to account!"

Peter was quizzed by the girls on a wide range of issues, including the war in Iraq, fox hunting and the Lib Dem campaign to unseat Michael Howard.
