Pulmonary Hypertension Day
On Wednesday, we were joined at Liberal Drinks (not been before? You should!) by Cindy Regalado.
Cindy let us know that tomorrow, Friday 4th November, is Pulmonary Hypertension Day.
Pulmonary Hypertension is a disease that affects only about 8,000 in the UK, but is really hard to diagnose. With the right treatment it is manageable, but not yet curable. Cindy knows: she has been treated for PH since 2008.
The Pulmonary Hypertension Association PHA, is a charity that supports people with PH, their families, and carers. They have a great 2 minute video on their website at https://www.phauk.org/ that explains what PH is.
You can also learn more about PH and its impact.
On Friday 4th November Cindy is doing a walk to raise awareness - anyone can register for free.
