Putting Residents in Charge

Folkestone South Campaigner Gary Fuller has promised to give local residents the say on how County grant money is allocated locally if elected to Kent County Council.

Lib Dem Kent County Councillor Tim Prater is the first County Councillor in Shepway to give local people a say in which projects they wanted to see backed with of grant funding. Gary says:

"It's great to see power being put back into the hands of local people: where it belongs. All other County Councillors in Shepway have decided themselves where money is allocated.

"I'm delighted Tim has set an example. It's one I would follow in Folkestone South if elected."
