Kent Highways have notified that there will be significant resurfacing work in Radnor Cliff starting in 10 days. This will be from the junction with Radnor Cliff Crescent down towards the Lower Sandgate Road car park and will consist of several large sections.

Kent Highways are planning on closing Radnor Cliff for resurfacing works on Monday 13th May 2019 for 5 working days. The timing of the works should be from 08:30 through to 16:30 approx so to keep peak time disruptions to a minimum. Unfortunately delays through Radnor Cliff will be experienced but when safe to do so access will be given.

Advanced signs will be placed on site and a full letter drop (in Radnor Cliff) will be completed soon detailing the work.

The works are due to "the rapid deterioration of the location it was decided that the time had come to take action." Too right - the road surface of Radnor Cliff has been a state for ages. There has considerable lobbying work done of Kent Highways by various people especially local residents - well done to those who kept pushing!
