Risborough Lane Pavement Works

19 Apr 2006

From 18 April there will be works on Risborough Lane for around 8 weeks from the junction with Risborough Way, Cheriton (near the railway bridge) up to the junction with Mackenzie Drive. During this time there will be temporary traffic lights in place, and there is very likely to be disruption to traffic.

The works are to rebuild the pavement kerbs along that stretch of road, and to put in drop kerbs with "tactile" markers to allow easier crossing of the road. The drop kerb crossing points will allow easier crossing of:

  • Risborough Way
  • Cherrybrook Road
  • Mackenzie Drive

...each by the junction with Risborough Lane, and a crossing of Risborough Lane itself opposite the Victoria Pub.
