Road Resurfacing Works in Shepway: Advance Notice

Kent Highways have given notice that, because Carriageway Surfacing works are proposed to be carried out, the Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting traffic on the roads in Shepway listed below on or after 23 June 2008 for an estimated period of four months or until such works are complete.

The roads affected are:

  • A260 Canterbury Road, From roundabout with A259 northwards for 700m. Alternative route: A259 Churchill Avenue, Folkestone A20, A260 Canterbury Road.
  • B2064 Cheriton High Street, Cheriton, from Weymouth Road junction to St Georges Road junction. Alternative route: B2063 Risborough Lane, Military Road, A259 Sandgate Hill, A2034 Earls Avenue and Cheriton Road.
  • A2033 Bouverie Road, Folkestone from Castle Avenue to Manor Road. Alternative route: Cheriton Gardens, A2034 and Castle Hill Avenue.
  • Sandgate Road, Folkestone, from Earls Avenue to Westbourne Gardens. Alternative route: Earls Avenue and Shorncliffe Road.
  • London Road, Pedlinge from Redbrooks Wood to Pedlinge Court. Alternative route: Ashford Road, Blackhouse Hill, Station Road, Prospect Road, Rampart Road and Military Road.
