The Environment Agency has launched a new website giving detailed information on its water quality testing at beaches around the UK.

Sandgate Beach is shown to have had excellent water quality for the last three years, with the first results of testing this year showing that trend continuing.

In Shepway, both Hythe and Dymchurch beaches are also showing as "Projected Excellent" water quality, with Folkestone and St Mary's Bay one grade lower on "Projected Good". Littlestone is currently showing as "Projected Sufficient".
