Sandgate Events Update - Christmas 2014

CHRISTMAS EVENTS COMING THIS WEEKEND!! Please tell your family, neighbours and friends!

Friday 28^th Nov, 6pm: Christmas in Sandgate! The annual village Christmas event will take place this Friday. We are delighted to inform you that Saga has kindly offered the use of their grounds. So the format will be:

• 6pm: Start of event in Saga grounds - welcome address
• 6.05pm: Saga will switch on all their lights to mark the run-up to Christmas and our Christmas tree on the village green will be lit up!
• Then follows carol signing by all - being led by children from Sandgate Primary School choir
• Approx. at 6.30pm Father Christmas will arrive - with presents for all the little children - and it may 'snow'!!
• Finale: mulled wine, soft drinks and mince pies being served in Escondido Restaurant.

Please take extra care crossing Military Road when going from the Saga grounds to Escondidos and, due to limited space inside the restaurant, please collect your refreshments and consume them outside on the village green.

Saturday 29^th Nov, from 10am: Arts & Crafts at the Chichester Hall, Sandgate. Affordable art, crafts, jewellery, Christmas gifts, decorations and wreaths, vintage homewares and more! Proceeds in aid of Chichester Memorial Hall Roof Fund. Lunch and teas served all day. Free parking at Saga.

And, you can now buy tickets for the Christmas Panto: Jack and the Beanstalk at The Tower Theatre - dates: December 5^th, 6^th, 7^th, 12^th, 13^th, 14^th, 18^th, 19^th & 20^th.
