Season Prater in Sandgate

At the February full parish council meeting in Sandgate, Lib Dem Cllr Season Prater put forward a motion in a bid to re-invigorate the tourism in Sandgate. The motion was agreed by all present, starting a new vital link between the parish council and Discover Folkestone, Hythe and Romney Marsh (DFH&RM).

Chris Kirkham of DFH&RM will meet with Season and other parish councillors shortly to discuss where best his expert knowledge could be used.

Season said "This really is fantastic news. We are in such a beautiful part of the world and should encourage others to enjoy it too. I am looking forward to working with Chris and really hope we can get more attractions and visitors into the village to help our pubs, restaurants and other businesses grow."
