Sandgate Transport Needs Survey by the Sandgate Community Trust

6 Oct 2012

All residents of Sandgate are being asked to complete a brief transport survey developed to find out which places you struggle to get to. Do you struggle to use public transport to get to places you need to go - such as the railway station, surgeries, youth clubs, chemists or down to Sandgate Village from the Valley?

The Sandgate Community Trust are running the survey, and are asking local residents to complete it to get a full picture of transport needs across Sandgate. The survey evidence will then be used to put together an application for funding from KCC's Community Transport Scheme to provide a fully fledged service operating throughout the week from the upper Corniche in the west to Folkestone West and the Golden Valley and Sandgate Hill in the north and east - but the actual service will depend on demand and the results of the survey!

If you live in Sandgate, please complete the online Sandgate Transport Survey now. Paper copies will be distributed through all doors in Sandgate next week, but early online responses would be really valuable!
