Cllrs Gill Jenkins and Janet Andrews with Peter Carroll - Local Lib Dems are fighting to save our Post Offices

Residents have given strong backing to Peter Carroll's campaign to save local Post Offices from closure.

Several Post Offices have been closed in our area as the Labour Government's closure programme gathers pace. Thousands of Post Offices will be closed across the country.

Local campaigner Peter Carroll is concerned that yet more closures could be on the way.

Peter Carroll said, "Tony Blair seems set on dismantling the Post Office network. We will keep up the fight to maintain this vital local service in our community."
