Shepway Lib Dems mourn passing of Elizabeth May

Shepway Liberal Democrats were sad to hear that Elizabeth May, a former Lydd Town and Shepway District Councillor, died last week.

Neil Matthews, Liberal Democrat Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Spokesman for Folkestone and Hythe, said:

"Elizabeth was a well respected citizen of the Marsh. She was a a very active Liberal Democrat Councillor in the past and worked for the people on the Marsh for many years.

"Elizabeth was a well known popular character and will be sorely missed".
