Shepway results of the European Elections: Labour Vote Crash

The Labour Party have come 5th in the European Elections in Shepway and were just 15 votes of being pushed into an even more humiliating 6th place behind the BNP.

The result announced by the Returning Officer around 10pm was:

  • Conservatives 10,054
  • UKIP 6,605
  • Liberal Democrats 3,995
  • Green Party 2,928
  • Labour 1,579
  • BNP 1,564
  • English Democrats 668
  • Christian Party 428
  • NO2EU 350
  • United Kingdom First 250
  • Socialist Labour 195
  • Libertas.eu 168
  • Jury Team 150
  • Peace Party 102
  • Roman Party 45

Rejected ballots 233. Total vote 29,314 (39.4%)
