Shorncliffe Redoubt on TV

...some time agoto be honest, but I've just come across the link.

Shorncliffe Redoubt is a large earthwork and fort, used by Sir John Moore and dating back to the Napoleonic Wars, located right by the present Shorncliffe Camp and Military Cemetery above Sandgate.

Although little remains obviously visible now, if you know where to look you can still see the huge earth banks that formed the walls. Channel 4's "Time Team" visited Shorncliffe Redoubt in episode 5 of their 14th series.
