Take Pride 2015

Lib Dem march at Brighton Pride

On Saturday 1st August the biggest party in the South East region takes place in Brighton!

For the 25th time this year Brighton will host its annual Gay Pride Parade: one of the most colourful and exciting visual events in the region's calendar bringing the whole community out to Brighton & Hove's streets with over 160,000 people to view the spectacle in all its outrageous colour.

The Liberal Democrats will be there - as always - and are looking to get as many people there to celebrate diversity and show off that the Liberal Democrat movement in the South East and the UK continues to fight for equality for all! We have more barriers to break down and this is one event where we can demonstrate our commitment!

This is one of the many things we as Liberal Democrats can be fiercely proud off so let's show it off.

Everyone is welcome to join the group walking the parade so even if you where already thinking of attending to cheer on the participants, why not walk with us and cheer on the wonderful crowds lining the route: I hope to see as many of you there as possible.

The meeting point is at the North side of Palmeira Square, Hove on Western Road and we will be meeting at 10:30.
