Temporary road closure - Godwyn Road & Ravenlea Road, Folkestone from 22 April 2010.

Kent Highways have notified that because of urgent carriageway repairs, it will be necessary to temporarily close Godwyn Road & Ravenlea Road, Folkestone at their junctions with Shorncliffe Road.

Works are planned to commence on Thursday 22 April 2010 and are estimated to be in place for up to 2 working days.

Both roads will be closed at their junctions of with Shorncliffe Road. Shorncliffe Road will not be closed during the works but the repairs will be carried out under temporary traffic lights.

The alternate route for through traffic on Godwyn Road is via Bouverie Road West and Grimstone Avenue.

The alternate route for through traffic on Ravenlea Road is via Broadfield Road and Shorncliffe Road or via Broadfield Road, Marten Road and Shorncliffe Road.
