TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - St Winifred Road, Folkestone: 8 April 2010

Kent Highways Services advise that because of the use of a crane on the highway to lift equipment onto an adjacent building, it will be necessary to temporarily close St Winifred Road, Folkestone.

Works are planned to commence on Thursday 8 April 2010 and are estimated to be in place for 1 working day, working between the hours of 08:00am to 18:00pm.

The road will be closed between the junctions of Cheriton Road and Geraldine Road.

The alternate route for through traffic is via Cheriton Road, St Hilda Road and Geraldine Road.

To allow for local access for the duration of the works, there will be a temporary suspension of the existing one way order on St Winifred Road between the junction of Cheriton Road and Geraldine Road. The temporary suspension will be end once the works are completed and the road has been re-opened.

The works are being undertaken by Southern Contract Lifting Ltd.
