Temporary Road Closures: Alma Road, Folkestone (3 June) and Waterloo Road, Folkestone (4 June)

Alma Road, Folkestone will be closed on Thursday 3 June 2010 and Waterloo Road, Folkestone will be closed on Friday 4 June 2010 to enable Kent Highway Services to carry out high friction surfacing works for an estimated day each.

Both closures will be in place at the junction with Royal Military Avenue.

  • Diversion for Alma Road - diversion route for through traffic is via Wellington Road, Church Road and Royal Military Avenue.
  • Diversion for Waterloo Road - diversion route for through traffic is via Wellington Road, Church Road and Royal Military Avenue.

These works are weather dependant and may be delayed or postponed by poor weather conditions.
