The BNP are Britain's really nasty party

Last week the BNP candidate penned a rant of some length to the letters page of the Herald. At times of uncertainty including worries about financial security and employment the BNP will always seek to tap into people's fear for now and the future. For a few it is tantalising to show support for this party, perhaps to give the other parties, especially the government a kick for failing them.

Labour has failed us miserably but lending support to the BNP as an alternative without closely following what its members are saying is a very dangerous prospect indeed.

A BNP European candidate for the South East region recently let it be known she finds the use of term 'Paki' perfectly acceptable and even uses the N word. She also finds it acceptable to coin the term 'fat slag' should someone's opinion happen to differ from hers - so much for freedom of speech! Didn't last week's rant author state 'no-one would encourage hatred against anybody else'?

Another BNP member and wife of a former BNP Party officer considers that she wishes houses owned by anyone that is non white should be returned to her white brothers and sisters.

And one of the BNP European candidates for Yorkshire supports her grandfather's endeavours fighting in the First World War, yet can't quite find the words to say she would have supported Britain in its fight against Hitler. She also questions the numbers of those murdered in the Holocaust.

I can give you the names and point you to the television documentary where these people freely talked on these subjects and more. Times may be hard and may also get harder but think very carefully before giving this organisation support as very dark days indeed would certainly ensue.
