Why do you think Britain should stay in Europe? For me, as Business Secretary, it's simple. Britain has developed economically through being open and outward-looking - today we attract more foreign direct investment than any other European country.

Only today, a CBI report showed how important our EU membership is for jobs and growth. The CBI estimated that each British household gains about £3,000 a year from EU membership. That compares with a net contribution per person of just over £110 to the EU.

The Liberal Democrats are the party of IN - we're fighting against those who want to throw away the jobs and growth that come with being in Europe, and we need your help

If you share my belief that we should stay in Europe - I want to hear from you.

We are opposed to those right wing politicians who dream of a lost world of global empire and who want to walk away from the successful trading block on our doorstep.

Creating jobs and sustaining the recovery matters too much for us to let the right wing win this argument. So help spread the word today by telling us why you want us to stay in Europe.
