Do we really want to leave the EU? Over this crisis?
News in the Mail on Sunday that 51% of us would now vote to leave the EU is more than disappointing to those of us who believe the UK is, on balance, probably better off within it as it currently stands. It is downright worrying.

TPS Registration Scam
Kent County Council Trading Standards have been made aware of a telephone scam which claims to be from the 'Telephone Preference Service', the scammer is asking for a registration fee of £50; however the official 'Telephone Preference Service' is a free service and you do not have to pay to register.

Faslane is wrong at so many levels
Confirmation that the nation is to invest half a billion pounds on Faslane might be in line with what was promised before last year's Independence referendum in Scotland, but given the closeness of the result - and the outcome in Scotland of this year's general election which virtually handed the Conservatives their election victory - we have to ask ourselves whether this is the right thing to do.
