In May 2023 Tim was re-elected to all the above seats for four more years. At the District Council AGM on 24th May 2023, he became Deputy Council Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance and Governance.
Previously, Tim has served on Folkestone Town Councillor for Cheriton from 2006-2011, and Shepway District Councillor for Cheriton from 2007-2011, Kent County Councillor for Folkestone West from 2009-2013. He has sat on Sandgate Parish Council for Sandgate Village since 2011.

Two knife bins have been placed in Folkestone to give anyone in possession of a bladed object a safe place to dispose of it.
Training and information events that are featured on the Folkestone Works website, many of which can be enrolled on totally free of charge….
Since 1974 applications have been welcomed each year around this time from residents of Folkestone to apply to the Town Mayor of Folkestone's Christmas Fund for assistance with their winter expenses.

Article on the front page of today's Folkestone and Hythe Express on bin collections being discussed at last week's Folkestone & Hythe District Full Council Meeting. It quotes Cabinet Member for Waste Stuart Peall responding to a question from Councillor Jackie Meade on bin collection problems saying:
