Sandgate CPZ proposals will hurt residents, businesses, workers and visitors
I am writing to oppose the proposed revised parking and waiting restrictions in the 'Sandgate East Parking Zone'. My detailed reasons to do so are below.

In May 2023 Tim was re-elected to all the above seats for four more years. At the District Council AGM on 24th May 2023, he became Deputy Council Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance and Governance.
Previously, Tim has served on Folkestone Town Councillor for Cheriton from 2006-2011, and Shepway District Councillor for Cheriton from 2007-2011, Kent County Councillor for Folkestone West from 2009-2013. He has sat on Sandgate Parish Council for Sandgate Village since 2011.

Shepway District Council have started a consultation on proposals to introduce a Residents Parking Permit scheme in Castle Road, Granville Parade, Granville Road East, Granville Parade West, Lachlan Way, Lister Way and Parade Road.
The first Sandgate Music Festival will take place in June. The purpose of this event is to have a series of events across the whole of Sandgate that engages with people of all ages to provide an opportunity for the various venues to raise their commercial profile and to raise awareness and business potential for all Sandgate businesses.
