Kent Highways have notified that It will be necessary to close Granville Road East, Sandgate from 18th January 2021 for up to 8 days.

In May 2023 Tim was re-elected to all the above seats for four more years. At the District Council AGM on 24th May 2023, he became Deputy Council Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance and Governance.
Previously, Tim has served on Folkestone Town Councillor for Cheriton from 2006-2011, and Shepway District Councillor for Cheriton from 2007-2011, Kent County Councillor for Folkestone West from 2009-2013. He has sat on Sandgate Parish Council for Sandgate Village since 2011.

Since the start of the previous national lockdown period on 4th November 2020, there have been a number of business grant schemes available for businesses in the district. However, we have tried to keep this as straightforward as possible, so have combined these into two broad schemes - the Local Restrictions Support Grant (LSRG) and the Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG). The recent national lockdown this January has brought an additional grant - the National Lockdown Grant, which is available to businesses eligible for an LSRG.
