CCTV for Sandgate - or not?
Sandgate Parish Council is in discussions with various partners, including the Sandgate Society and District Councillors, to seek funding to install CCTV in three key locations:

In May 2023 Tim was re-elected to all the above seats for four more years. At the District Council AGM on 24th May 2023, he became Deputy Council Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance and Governance.
Previously, Tim has served on Folkestone Town Councillor for Cheriton from 2006-2011, and Shepway District Councillor for Cheriton from 2007-2011, Kent County Councillor for Folkestone West from 2009-2013. He has sat on Sandgate Parish Council for Sandgate Village since 2011.

Following up from previous Facebook posts (such as this, and this) on the condition of the East Kent Housing run (and Folkestone and Hythe District Council owned) Ross House in Ross Way, Sandgate, there has been much more progress and work.
Action Fraud and others are reporting a scam by text where criminals are sending out distressing messages.
Future options for managing council housing
Creative Folkestone is pleased to announce that the fifth edition of Folkestone Triennial will be taking place from Saturday 5 September - Sunday 8 November 2020. Curated for the third time by Lewis Biggs, the Triennial in 2020 will take the title The Plot.
