In May 2023 Tim was re-elected to all the above seats for four more years. At the District Council AGM on 24th May 2023, he became Deputy Council Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance and Governance.
Previously, Tim has served on Folkestone Town Councillor for Cheriton from 2006-2011, and Shepway District Councillor for Cheriton from 2007-2011, Kent County Councillor for Folkestone West from 2009-2013. He has sat on Sandgate Parish Council for Sandgate Village since 2011.

In summating the motion to Save Princes Parade and reply to the debate on Wednedsday 26th June, I said something like the below (you need to react to what other people say, so it's a bit fluid!).
In moving the motion at the 26th June Folkestone and Hythe District Council Full Council Meeting to Save Princes Parade, I (approximately!) said the below.
Kent County Council have closed Folkestone Library on Grace Hill due to the impact of water leaks at Folkestone Library on the fabric of the building and central electrics.
Kent County Council Public Protection are continuing to see an increase in reports on HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) scams as well as changes to how they can trick you.
