In May 2023 Tim was re-elected to all the above seats for four more years. At the District Council AGM on 24th May 2023, he became Deputy Council Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance and Governance.
Previously, Tim has served on Folkestone Town Councillor for Cheriton from 2006-2011, and Shepway District Councillor for Cheriton from 2007-2011, Kent County Councillor for Folkestone West from 2009-2013. He has sat on Sandgate Parish Council for Sandgate Village since 2011.

The Sandgate Arts and Crafts Fair for Christmas is at the Chichester Hall, Sandgate High Street CT20 3AR on Saturday November 29th and starts at 10am. Wide variety of affordable and unusual Christmas gifts.
KCC Highways, Transportation & Waste has commissioned BMG, an independent market research company, to undertake a door-to-door survey from Saturday 15 November until the end of December.
I am the Chaplain for the Sandgate Royal British Legion. The response in Sandgate on Sunday was excellent and reflects the respect and honour that remains in place for those who fought and died.
Due to further ingress of water through the ceiling, Sandgate Library is temporarily closed again. We hope that this matter will be resolved speedily. When it is known the date the Library will re-open, I will inform you.
