In May 2023 Tim was re-elected to all the above seats for four more years. At the District Council AGM on 24th May 2023, he became Deputy Council Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance and Governance.
Previously, Tim has served on Folkestone Town Councillor for Cheriton from 2006-2011, and Shepway District Councillor for Cheriton from 2007-2011, Kent County Councillor for Folkestone West from 2009-2013. He has sat on Sandgate Parish Council for Sandgate Village since 2011.

The Chairman and Parish Councillors invite you to attend two annual meetings that will take place next Tuesday: Sandgate's Annual Parish Meeting and the Annual Parish Council Meeting - both in the Sandgate Library/Council Office. At the end of the second meeting, there will be drinks and a light finger buffet.
Local restaurant owner Kishore Sapkota is organising a Curry buffet dinner at his restaurant the Gurkha Palace in Sandgate Valley this Monday to raise funds to support Nepal earthquake victims. The Gurkha Palace will provide food and all the money raised will go towards the cause.
