I am the Chaplain for the Sandgate Royal British Legion. The response in Sandgate on Sunday was excellent and reflects the respect and honour that remains in place for those who fought and died.

In May 2023 Tim was re-elected to all the above seats for four more years. At the District Council AGM on 24th May 2023, he became Deputy Council Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance and Governance.
Previously, Tim has served on Folkestone Town Councillor for Cheriton from 2006-2011, and Shepway District Councillor for Cheriton from 2007-2011, Kent County Councillor for Folkestone West from 2009-2013. He has sat on Sandgate Parish Council for Sandgate Village since 2011.

Due to further ingress of water through the ceiling, Sandgate Library is temporarily closed again. We hope that this matter will be resolved speedily. When it is known the date the Library will re-open, I will inform you.

A Kent based charity has received an email from a debt collector acting on behalf of another business. The company claims to be making a final request for payment before they begin legal proceedings. The email includes a link to make payment arrangements.
As a School Governor, I received a useful briefing this morning from Kent County Council about the funding that Kent schools receive as either a maintained school or academy.
