I'm sure you found it as painful as I did watching the "cash for influence" scandal uncovered by Dispatches unfold last week. To see MPs so blatantly and willingly abuse the positions that we have given them was a disgrace.

Out on the beat with PCSO

Sandgate Valley Parish Councillor, Season Prater, went out on the beat with PCSO Mark Wilson last Friday night. Season and another resident joined Mark as he walked around Sandgate watching out for any anti social behaviour or crime. This "enviornmental audit" was the first in a series Mark hopes to run over the coming months.

Stealth Income Tax Increase will hit Folkestone and Hythe hard

The 2010 Labour budget has frozen income tax threshold limits, meaning a real terms rise in income taxes on tax payers across Folkestone and Hythe, The Lib Dems had announced plans to take all those earning under £10,000 out of income tax entirely by raising the lower tax threshold.
