Result in Harvey West shows what we all know

Local Lib Dem Gary Fuller, commenting on the result of the by-election in Folkestone Harvey West ward, has suggested that the results reflect an ongoing trend in Shepway politics. The results, which saw the Conservatives narrowly win the district and town council seats with both UKIP and the Lib Dems within 130 votes of victory, represented a massive swing away from the Conservatives and also demonstrated that neither Labour or the Green Party can win in Folkestone.
