Kent and Academies: An update from Paul Carter

Paul Carter, Conservative Leader of Kent County Council, has refuted suggestions in the press that KCC would like to see all Kent schools convert to academies. He made a statement in July 2011 saying that Kent did not want to see all schools change to academies.

Folkestone Seafront Masterplan, 'A Year On'

Folkestone Harbour Company will be hosting a public consultation to exhibit the updated Seafront Masterplan, 'A Year On', from the 8th to the 10th December 2011 in the Triennial Visitor Centre, Tontine Street. Opening times are 10.00 am - 8.30 pm on the 8th December, and 10.00 am - 5.30 pm on the 9th and 10th December.
