Bowles Leads European List for South East Region for 2009

The Liberal Democrat candidates for South-England for the European Parliament elections in 2009 have been announced. Current MEP Sharon Bowles heads the list, followed by well known Regional campaigner Catherine Bearder, and Bromley By-Election candidate Ben Abbotts.

Kent Fire Service Consultation: Now On-line

Kent Fire Service have opened the on-line consultation on their "Integrated Risk Management Plan 5", which proposes this year to cut 24 full-time firefighters, an engine and the long ladder from Folkestone Fire Station. The Shepway Liberal Democrat team are working with other local campaigners to fight this cut which would increase response times across Shepway.
