Higher Pay for Shepway Councillors Condemned

The Liberal Democrat group on Shepway District Council is demanding that the Council's budget for 2005/06 be changed to eliminate an increase in councillors' allowances contained in the proposals being made by the controlling Conservative group.

Peter Carroll is fighting for action to clear up a bridleway at the end of Dunes Road on the Marsh. Peter was contacted by a concerned local resident who told him it was now impossible to ride safely on the bridleway due to collapsed trees blocking the path.
