Kent Trading Standards are warning consumers NOT to rely on the printed version of the new-style MoT certificates when buying cars after a 38 year old man was arrested by Cleveland Police on suspicion of forging MoT test certificates with intent to deceive.
Following on from improvements in Cheriton and Morehall over recent years funded by Local County Councillor Tim Prater's "Member Highways Fund" (MHF), more works are hopefully planned this year. The Members Highway Fund is an amount of money delegated to County Councillors each year to spend on works in their division - currently £25,000 per year.

On Wednesday 1st August 2012 PCSO Mark Ball attended a report of a vehicle obstruction to a residential driveway. The owner of the vehicle, who was the manager of a local works garage apologised and agreed not to park any of his vehicles in this section of the road again in order to avoid any further upset.

On Friday 6th Jul 2012 PCSO Mark Ball and PCSO Gary Carr stopped and spoke with a group of 8 young females who were drinking alcohol in Cheriton Park. All alcohol was seized and immediately disposed off. A letter of note has been sent to the parents of each group member.
