Shepway Lib Dem campaigner Peter Carroll has asked the Environment Agency to prosecute Southern Water for failing to install Mains Drainage in the town of New Romney, Kent. Over 600 properties are still without mains drainage despite decades of promises. A recently proposed scheme is still not underway after nearly 3 years.
Shepway Lib Dem campaigner Peter Carroll is campaigning for action to help residents who live along the A259 in the Folkestone & Hythe area. The A259 was successfully 'de-trunked' on 30 September this year when responsibility for the road passed from the Highways Agency to Kent County Council.
Residents face a big Council Tax rise as the Council has to find money to cover a £700,000 hole in Council finances left by the previous Conservative administration.
